In Memoriam: Kenneth I. Gross and Andrea Lull Diehl

GIV lovingly recognizes the passing of two leading lights who were instrumental to making GIV the potent and caring organization it is today.

Kenneth I. Gross was the visionary and founder of the advanced math program for high schoolers that became the Governor’s Institute on Mathematical Sciences. He stayed a close strategic advisor and friend to GIV until his death on September 10th.

Andrea Lull Diehl was a guiding force of wisdom, wonder and grace on the GIV Board from 2012 until her death November 8th. These remarkable individuals’ generosity with their time and support has impacted literally thousands of young Vermonters and left an indelible mark on our Vermont community.  They will be greatly missed.
