Andrea is a lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont. Originally from central Maine, Andrea earned a BA in Physics from the University of Virginia (1997), and MS (2000) and PhD (2011) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine and University of Vermont, respectively. Her research at UVM has focused on developing computational methods to untangle physical, chemical, and biological relationships in groundwater, lakes, and rivers. Andrea enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, gardening, and the changing seasons here in New England. She lives in Starksboro, VT with her husband and two sons.
