What will I do at the Winter Weekend on Global Climate Change and Sustainability?

When you register, you will choose one of these strands as your lead working strand:

• Current Issues & Youth Activism:  How Can We Create Positive Change?
•  Physical Theatre and Arts in Action!  Let’s Get a Move On!
•  Science & Engineering:  Politics and Projects

No matter which strand you choose, you will participate in all of them at some point throughout the Weekend.  This one is your "home strand".

Throughout the Weekend you will:

• Increase your awareness of issues
• Share your curiosity, creativity, ideas, and energy
• Reflect on new information and ideas
• Gain skills and tools to effect change

During the Weekend there will be:

• Workshops
• Speakers
• Small working groups
   

When you leave, there will be opportunities for you to pursue your ideas and passions.  Communication among the group will continue via the web.  You will meet Matt Moreau at the Weekend - he's in charge of keeping the communication and technology going.
