Alum Update:
Elizabeth Dotsen-Westphalen (GIA '94, GIA Staff (RA and eventually Assistant
Director) from '97-'00), writes in with an update and the first seeds
of starting an Alum network-- read on and get in touch with her if you're
interested:
"Hi. I studied neuroscience at Harvard, but go figure... I am living
in NYC now, working for an e-commerce software company and playing trombone
and singing jazz. Leading the double life is tough sometimes but also
doubly rewarding.
I ran into George Wilson (Arts student 1994-- "Little George" of the infamous
Vikings) last night on the subway and it turns out he lives just a few
blocks from me. It got me to thinking...
I'd love to get together a real contact list of GIA Folks to provide us
with access to the network that already exists. I would love to catch
up with former GIA friends who are living in or passing through New York...or
Boston...or L.A...or Vermont... and meet new ones.
I haven't lit upon the best way of doing this yet, but this alum update
page is a start... if you are reading this and are still in contact with
others from your GIA year, email me to help me get this going... elizabeth_dw@hotmail.com"
