Summer Institute Information
The Governor's Institutes of Vermont enriches the lives of motivated Vermont high school
students through intensive educational experiences on Vermont college campuses.
These summer programs emphasize experiential learning and subsequent community involvement.
GIV seeks to enroll students who reflect the diversity of Vermont.
Our summer Institutes are offered in Arts; Asian Cultures;
Current Issues & Youth Activism; Engineering; Information Technology; Mathematics; and Science & Technology.

April 1: Applications due to GIV from schools
May 1: School fees due
Late June: Institutes begin

Winter Weekend Information
We are offering a Weekend Institute in early Febuary which is:
FOCUS ON GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE:
Increase your awareness of issues; Reflect on new information and ideas; Gain skills and tools to effect change.
